My darling krusty left his buddy and me at about 2.08am this morning when i saw him lifeless.

Came home at abt 11pm ytd after training with his fav cheese seeing that he hasn't been really well and behaving abnormally the past 2 days. Thought of feeding it to him this morning but he left too early. Purposely went to buy the cheese and he died even before he could have it.. regret not feeding it to him when i came home. at least he could have his wonderful cheese before he left with an empty stomach.

Had been planning to bring him with dusty to the since dusty needed his tooth done this week. although most likely the vet wouldn't be able to find out what was wrong with krusty at least i tried. all said but not done..

When i found krusty lifeless, i was hoping that when i prodded and stroke him he would suddenly just jump and run away but he layed there lifeless with a body already stiffened. he was lying with dusty i guess before he died but in a awkard position maybe.. left him there with dusty for one last night.

I woke up to see him still lifeless.. with dusty lying on him and grooming him still. dusty looked silly doing that but...

Feels stupid but i burried him under a tree but couldn't do a proper job. what a lousy owner i am. somehow it seems like God was looking over him cuz i found a spade to help me to dig..

The tank now looks too empty for just 1 gerbil in it...
